Photo exhibition "Hai Phong with Truong Sa - Truong Sa with Hai Phong"

On June 8, the Hai Phong Journalists Association organized a photo exhibition “Hai Phong with Truong Sa - Truong Sa with Hai Phong” to widely promote the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, June 21.

The photo exhibition "Hai Phong with Truong Sa - Truong Sa with Hai Phong" is a meaningful activity towards the 76th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for Patriotic Emulation (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2024), the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024) contributing to promoting love for the homeland's sea and islands to the people, especially the young generation .

Thereby, promoting and arousing patriotism, national pride, awareness of protecting sovereignty and territorial integrity, encouraging the spirit of creating press photos about the sovereignty of the homeland's sea and islands, creating a healthy and useful playground for journalists and photographers of the Port City.

The photo exhibition " Hai Phong with Truong Sa - Truong Sa with Hai Phong" introduces to the public more than 200 excellent works created by photographers of the Hai Phong Press Photo Club during their visit and work trip to the islands and DK1 platforms in the Truong Sa archipelago in April 2024.

The works have brought viewers many emotions about life on remote islands. These are images of the flower lantern releasing ceremony on Truong Sa sea to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed in the fight to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. Images of navy soldiers always holding their guns firmly to maintain the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the homeland, moments of relaxation after training, taking care of green vegetables on the island, images of DK1 rig, Truong Sa pagoda sparkling with electric lights at night; images of the lives of people on the islands of Truong Sa archipelago...

This is a meaningful activity expressing the affection of the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong city for the army and people of Truong Sa island district and DK1 platform. At the same time, it widely propagates the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, praising the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers".
