Special exhibition "August Revolution 1945 - Historical milestone"

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, from August 18 to September 19, Hung Vuong Museum organized a special exhibition "August Revolution 1945 - Historical milestone" with more than 300 images, documents and artifacts kept at the Hung Vuong Museum's facilities.

The images, documents and artifacts are displayed according to 4 themes: August Revolution 1945 - Historical milestone; Phu Tho resistance against French colonialism (1945-1954); Phu Tho building and defending the Fatherland (1955-1975); Phu Tho innovation and development. Many valuable images, documents and artifacts are displayed about the people's lives before the August Revolution; images of some leaders of patriotic movements of the Vietnamese people; the birth of the Indochinese Communist Party; the first Party cells and locations where the Party flag was hung in the province...

Through that, it aims to honor the great victory of the August Revolution, affirm the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam, especially President Ho Chi Minh, educate the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary spirit, national pride, solidarity, desire for peace , express deep gratitude to previous generations. At the same time, create people's trust in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, international integration, contributing to bringing the country into an era of strength and prosperity.

In addition to the exhibition activities, Hung Vuong Museum also organizes screenings of documentary films about the August Revolution; documentary films about President Ho Chi Minh declaring independence on September 2, 1945 and organizes history lessons for students in the province.

Students learn about the contributions of Phu Tho's army and people in the resistance wars through images displayed at the Hung Vuong Museum.
