In addition, the Sawaco Talk program broadcasts live to introduce outstanding events, solutions and initiatives participating in the exhibition during the science week as well as introduce the history of formation and development of the water supply industry in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Bui Thanh Giang, Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Science and Technology Council of Saigon Water Corporation said: “The Science, Technology and Innovation Week is a practical activity to raise awareness of the role, significance and importance of research and application of science and technology in promoting the efficiency of water supply activities in line with new development trends. From this activity, many initiatives and solutions have been formed and applied in the management and production and business activities of the corporation and its partners. Through the activities of the week, it is expected to promote the emulation movement to promote initiatives, improve techniques, and rationalize production in the water supply industry to change more positively to have more good models and good solutions to promote sustainable development in the water supply industry”.

The special highlight of this year's Water Supply Science, Technology and Innovation Week is the exhibition of solutions, initiatives and creative ideas that have been successfully applied in the past at units in the water supply industry of Ho Chi Minh City and other local units such as: Ba Ria - Vung Tau Water Supply Joint Stock Company, Long An Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company, Can Tho Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company, Thuy Loi University (Southern branch), University of Natural Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City National University...

The solution groups participating in the exhibition at the event are mainly about the application of information technology in water services, water supply system management, improving production quality and efficiency, improving technology in reducing water loss, modern water treatment technology. Some good initiatives and solution models of the units are: Automatic pressure controller, application of contact center system in operating management and customer care, smart water meter model, solution to collect customer identification codes for customer service, building a model of a group of vehicles to quickly respond to emergency incidents on the water supply network...
