Of which, the Chinese market grew the most with 1.1 billion USD, up 64% over the same period last year. In October 2025 alone, this market recorded a turnover of 140 million USD, the highest ever.

The market block under the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans- Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) also reached over 1 billion USD in 10 months, up 33% over the same period. This is a region that brings stability to shrimp exporting enterprises thanks to sustainable demand in Japan, Canada and Australia.

The US market still increased by 9%, with a value of 702 million USD; October 2025 alone still reached 114 million USD. This shows that demand in this market is still maintained at a good level, despite competitive pressure from Ecuador and India.

VASEP forecasts that shrimp exports will decline in the last two months of the year due to pressure from taxes and trade defense measures from the US - Vietnam's second largest market. However, if businesses continue to optimize high-value products, maintain quality and diversify markets, the impacts can be limited.
