Trung Ruoi, Duy Hung, Thai Hoa, Neko Le become farmers, teach children about gratitude

The fathers Trung Ruoi, Duy Hung, Thai Hoa and Neko Le 'played the role of farmers' for the first time, getting their hands and feet dirty, going to the fields to bail water - a seemingly simple job but making the artists sweat profusely.

The journey of episode 6 of Dad, Where Are We Going? 2025 (broadcast on VTV3 on the evening of June 23) takes father and son pairs to Khe Ha village, Ninh Xuan commune (Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh ). Trung Ruoi, Duy Hung, Thai Hoa and Neko Le and their children experience the deprivation, the harsh northern sun and the sweat soaking their shoulders in their first time as... farmers.

During the first dinner in Khe Ha village, the fathers asked their children how they felt about their “new home”: Bean, Minh Khoi and Dua all seemed satisfied, but Audi and Cati shook their heads because of the heat and mosquitoes. Without hesitation, Bean took the initiative to exchange houses with the two girls to make them more comfortable, a small act but showing the spirit of caring and sharing - something that the program always silently instills in children's souls.

Simple lessons for children

Coming to the first challenge early in the morning, two pairs of "reluctant farmers" Trung Ruoi - Duy Hung and Thai Hoa - Neko Le were assigned the task of bailing 100 buckets of water. Under the scorching sun, the fathers who once thought they were "strong enough" had to exclaim: "After bailing only 100 buckets, my hands are already limp".

Thai Hoa confided: “Now I see how hard the farmers’ work is. Just one morning is enough to make me exhausted.” Neko Le shared: “Even if the program is hard, the fathers don’t mind. I have to work a little harder, but my children are happy and learn something, so it’s all worth it.”

Duy Hung looked back: "Only after doing it do I realize that experiences like this make me happier and more grateful for my current life."

While the fathers sweat in the fields, the children also have an equally "big" task: going to the market to buy food for their fathers... The fathers and children then wade through the fields to catch fish together, their hands and feet dirty but their eyes full of joy.

Each father in the program has a different way of loving and choosing to raise children - but they all aim for a common goal: to help their children grow up with care, understanding and maturity from valuable experiences with their parents.

Episode 6 of Dad, Where Are We Going? 2025 ends with very ordinary moments. Children learn to accept inconvenience for the first time. Fathers learn to bend down to the fields to better understand hardship. And somewhere in the simple country meal are simple but lasting lessons for children: about sharing, gratitude and how to grow up kindly.
