The Living Well contest season 5 ended with nearly 700 entries in the following categories: short stories; reports, memoirs, notes; and photo albums. All of them created a door leading to the world of very quiet and ordinary things.
With the unique strengths of each genre, this year's competition truly reflects many stories from life, conquering readers with multi-dimensional perspectives, emotional flow and the ability to evoke action. If short stories take readers into deep inner contexts, where people overcome adversity, promptly providing understanding and compassion, then in the reportage, memoir, and record categories, authors lead readers on a journey of beautiful living, where each individual is always faced with the choice of staying calm or committing. Even more unique, the photo album category captures many candid moments, like emotional slices of time. Although the 3 genres are different, the works all have the same beat, vibrate with the same emotional flow, forming a colorful picture of good living, green living and beautiful living in modern times.

What touches the readers' emotions in the short stories in the contest is not the grand story, the unexpected details or the polished sentences, but the simple dragons, where choices stem from human love, seemingly small reactions build a solid foundation for a decent life. That is the teacher in Carrying Letters Over the Pass , who crosses the rocky slope every day to bring the children of the highlands closer to letters. Or the story in Miracle for Gold opens the journey of two young people who find the meaning of life when caring for, comforting, and protecting a weak creature. Tears of Letters tells the story of a hard-working man teaching letters to children in the neighborhood with crumpled pieces of paper, reminding us that kindness stemming from sincerity will bring extraordinary strength.
The hustle and bustle of modern life often makes us overlook many good things. But if we just slow down, we realize that around us there are always people who are filling our lives with care, tolerance and persistent action. This year's entries in all three categories have shown a generation that knows how to bend down to cherish every patch of green, and knows how to worry about the damage caused by nature. The photo series "Rescuing coral, returning life to the "forest at the bottom of the water" depicts the portraits of divers tirelessly restoring dying coral reefs. The reportage "Dung Khi Ke Quyen Khun " tells the story of a man who spent his youth standing in the middle of the forest, protecting every tree and every animal footprint. The short story "A drop of water" brings a simple yet majestic image of people blending into the natural flow, finding healing from the earth and sky. Many of this season's works not only capture the beauty of nature but also carry a simple message: Preserving the earth for future generations, so that green things do not only exist in memory.

The simple things that keep life worth living
The most striking impression of the season was the superiority of articles that delved into professions: rescue, rain measurement, teaching, garbage collection, taking disabled students to school... The professional atmosphere created a realistic foundation for emotions. Reports such as Silent hearts in the dark, "Doctors" in the hearts of the people , or The shape of willpower touched readers with their accurate descriptions of daily work. It was this vivid and multifaceted life that created depth for the award-winning works.
Many entries also give a very beautiful place to young people full of ambition and aspiration, living in the "present tense", with many collisions with many concerns but also many opportunities to choose kindness every day. Gen Z: writing a history of kindness in the present tense, Gen Z boy sowing sunshine to warm life , or the photo series Teenagers and love lessons from a nursing home show a positive generation, not standing outside the movement of society. Young people express themselves in small but valuable things: picking up trash to make the beach cleaner, taking care of the elderly to make the city less lonely, teaching English for free to the neighborhood children, or saving a wild animal that is gradually exhausted...
In the increasingly vibrant flow of information, fleeting emotions, our minds are easily swept away by virtual life, this year's contest is like an invitation to return to basic values: Living beautifully is not something big or far away. Starting from a small action, a right choice, a heart that is moved by what is happening right before our eyes, we have lived a good life, lived green, thereby affirming ourselves in real life.
And the 5th Beautiful Life Contest - The Miracle of Kindness is like a gentle "rest stop", inviting us to stop, breathe slowly, and look more closely at the simple things that keep life worth living. Each story, each photo, each note not only depicts a beautiful portrait or recounts a good deed, but also gently reminds us that kindness is never lost. The goodness of a community is most accurately measured by the responsible actions of each member. Beyond the screen we face, there are always countless silent hands still lighting the fire of Beautiful Life to warm this life.

When the lens touches the green heart
The 29 finalist photos are like 29 "green heartbeats" of the country. The high-prize winning works are proof of the strong vitality of photography: Just a moment of pressing the shutter at the right time will create a work full of humanity. It is the "green vibrations" of the authors that turn small actions into great values, turn viewers into companions, and the flame of kindness of Living Well lights up the green belief for our earth.

Harmony makes quality
The authors participating in the short story category have known how to exploit many good stories: from personal to public, from small to large, bringing positive emotions. The entries reflect family relationships, along with the sacrifices of fathers and mothers. And it is kindness and tolerance that have resolved all conflicts. Environmental protection, green and clean living are also focused on by the authors in the new era. The harmony between literature and life has created high quality for the short stories in this year's Beautiful Living contest.
