Truong Sa Medical Center receives and treats fishermen

Previously, at around 8:00 a.m. on August 13, while fishing in the sea about 12 nautical miles from Truong Sa Island, fisherman Vo Van Hiep, 54 years old, residing in Tam Quan Ward, Hoai Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province, had pain in the epigastric region which gradually increased. Ship BD 98573TS took patient Vo Van Hiep to Truong Sa Medical Center for emergency treatment.

According to the diagnosis, patient Vo Van Hiep is likely to have a gastrointestinal infection; gastritis, enteritis; and high blood pressure.

The patient was tested by the medical team of Truong Sa Medical Center for blood count, blood biochemistry, X-ray, emergency abdominal ultrasound, rehydration, electrolytes, antibiotics, secretion reduction, intravenous nutrition, and blood pressure reduction.
