( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of September 18, the Logistics Academy held the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year. Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army attended and delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Tung Son, Director of the Logistics Academy; Lieutenant General Duong Duc Thien, Political Commissar of the Logistics Academy; Major General Ha Nhu Loi, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics; leaders and commanders of a number of functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense and the Logistics Academy.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son commended and congratulated the outstanding achievements of the Logistics Academy in the past time, especially in the 2023-2024 school year. Appreciating the goals and directions for the 2024-2025 school year that the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Logistics Academy have determined, Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son requested the Academy to continue to thoroughly grasp and resolutely, creatively and effectively implement resolutions, conclusions and directives of all levels on education , training and scientific research. Proactively develop plans to closely and seriously implement new projects of the Ministry of National Defense; coordinate to open the identified training codes, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Proactively improve the quality of scientific research, advise and propose to superiors to plan policies, mechanisms and methods to ensure logistics, technical and financial requirements in accordance with the tasks of building the Army in the new situation in an appropriate manner; actively improve the efficiency of exploiting and applying scientific research results into practice.
