Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Hao Thi - Rector of STU, on behalf of the school, summarized the 2023 - 2024 school year and presented the tasks for the 2024 - 2025 school year. "With the motto of Good expertise - Bright morality, STU is determined to become a center for training scientific and technological staff with professional quality, love for the profession and a desire to contribute to building the country, hoping that students will find a healthy learning environment and "Teachers are honored - Students are respected". He also expressed his pride when two training majors of STU achieved the accreditation of educational quality. After the speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Hao Thi solemnly beat the drum to open the new school year.

At the ceremony, VietcomBank - West Saigon Branch supported and awarded scholarships to STU students worth 50 million VND. The school also awarded many scholarships to valedictorians, salutatorians, students with good academic results, and poor students who overcame difficulties.

Associate Professor, Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam, Director of the Center for Education Quality Assessment - VNU-HCM read the decision and awarded the education quality assessment certificates to two undergraduate training programs in Mechatronics Engineering Technology and Industrial Design, which is a recognition of STU's efforts in improving training quality.
