Saigon University of Technology held the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year

On the morning of September 25, 2025, Saigon Technology University (STU) solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Founding Council, School Council, Board of Supervisors, Party Committee, Board of Directors, leaders of units in the school, lecturers, staff, alumni and nearly 500 students.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Hao Thi - Principal of the school emphasized the strategic orientations for the new school year, affirming STU's commitment to continuously improving training quality, closely connecting the school - business - society, creating an advanced learning and research environment, helping students develop comprehensively, ready for international integration.

Dr. Ngo Thi Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of the School Board and Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the School Board, awarded scholarships to students who won the valedictorian scholarship.

Following the program, the school awarded scholarships to valedictorians, salutatorians, and poor students who overcame difficulties with a total value of nearly 1.5 billion VND.

In particular, the family of the late Distinguished Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Xuan Dinh - former Principal of Ho Chi Minh City College of Tourism Technology (the predecessor of Saigon University of Technology) awarded scholarships to encourage students with good academic performance and students who overcome difficulties with a total value of 40 million VND. In addition, Vietcombank - West Saigon Branch also awarded scholarships to support students with difficult circumstances, with a total value of 50 million VND.
