Duy Tan University officially changed to Duy Tan University

(To Quoc) - "Developing public and non-public universities is equal", Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son emphasized in his speech celebrating the 30th anniversary of Duy Tan University and announcing the Prime Minister's Decision to convert Duy Tan University into Duy Tan University.

On the morning of November 10, Duy Tan University held a ceremony to celebrate its 30th anniversary and announce the Prime Minister 's decision to transform Duy Tan University into Duy Tan University.

Speaking at the event, Minister Nguyen Kim Son congratulated Duy Tan University: "Today's event is an important milestone in the journey of striving and development of the University", and reiterated the Party and State's policyof educational and training innovation. In 1994, the Prime Minister signed the Decision to establish Duy Tan University - one of the first 5 non-public universities in the country in the new era. Through many difficulties and challenges, Duy Tan University has developed continuously, making many contributions to human resource training for Da Nang, the Central Highlands and the whole country.

Minister Nguyen Kim Son presented the Prime Minister's Decision to convert Duy Tan University into Duy Tan University to Labor Hero, Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co - founder of Duy Tan University.

"Currently, among the world's leading universities, a very large proportion are private universities. I really hope that one day in the not too distant future, Duy Tan University will be among the top universities in Asia and move towards the top universities in the world," Minister Nguyen Kim Son expressed his wish.

Affirming that the country’s development opportunities are also opportunities for universities, the Minister expressed his hope that Duy Tan University will seize the opportunity, accelerate the speed of development and quality of development. He hoped that the university would pay more attention to new fields of science and technology, cutting-edge technology, industries that the country needs both in the short and long term, and also industries that require a lot of investment but take a long time to achieve results .

The Minister also said that with the responsibility of state management, the Ministry of Education and Training will always care, support and supervise schools. Through inspection and supervision activities, we will support schools to continue and continuously grow.
