Lac Hong University continues to have projects in the final round of SV-Startup

(DN)- From April 18 to 20, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City chaired and coordinated with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organize the 7th National Student Startup Day (SV-Startup) in 2025.

SV-Startup 2025 is organized with many activities including: Workshops on breakthrough solutions to promote creative startups in higher education institutions; Support for creative startups in vocational education institutions in the digital economic era; Solutions to promote the spirit of creative startups of students from consulting, career and employment activities.

The festival also included a forum to inspire startups for students in the technology field; a conference to summarize the project to support students in startups until 2025; an exhibition displaying startup projects of students. Especially, the final round and awarding ceremony of the 7th Student Startup Ideas Contest.

Of which, the 7th Student Startup Ideas Competition in 2025 received 775 startup projects from students of universities, vocationaltraining institutions and general education institutions.

Lac Hong University has a Project on Production and Commercialization of Black Termite Mushrooms in the final round of this competition. The project was implemented by a group of students from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology in collaboration with the Faculty of International Economics and Management. The project aims to provide fresh black termite mushrooms, mushroom spawn grown from agricultural by-products, and at the same time transfer mushroom growing technology to units and households, contributing to spreading the circular agricultural model and increasing the economic value of agricultural waste.

This is the 5th consecutive year that Lac Hong University has had a project enter the final round of the SV-Startup competition.
