A group of students from Tan Trao University has a project that entered the final round of the contest "Students with startup ideas".
The projects include: "Diversifying products from grapefruit" and "Wearable devices to support the visually impaired". The projects aim to diversify agricultural products, create unique tourism products, contribute to promoting culture, and develop the socio -economy of localities.
The project “Wearable navigation device for the blind” aims to develop a compact device, integrating ultrasonic sensors using Arduino technology for vibration feedback, helping the blind recognize obstacles and orient themselves safely while moving.
Compact, easy-to-use, low-cost, loss-resistant device helps significantly improve the user's independence, suitable for the conditions of the visually impaired in Vietnam.
The best projects will be selected to participate in the National Student Startup Festival. This is an annual activity organized by the Ministryof Education and Training to implement the project "Supporting students to start a business until 2025" according to Decision No. 1665/QD-TTg dated October 30, 2017 of the Prime Minister.
