Yen Bai - On June 1, Hanoi Medical University and the Department of Health of Yen Bai province signed a contract in principle to train resident doctors for Yen Bai province in the period 2023 - 2028.

It is expected that the Contract in principle for training resident physicians for Yen Bai province will train 25 resident physicians focusing on the following specialties: cancer, emergency resuscitation, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and other resident physician specialties.

According to the Principle Contract, Hanoi Medical University is responsible for developing a study plan and organizing its implementation; ensuring the training program and teaching plan for students. Agreeing to teach according to the approved residency training program of the school; assigning experienced lecturers who meet the standards according to current regulations to participate in teaching; coordinating with the Department of Health of Yen Bai province to organize the reception of candidates' wishes to register for the quota to work in Yen Bai province after graduation and organizing the management of students throughout the study process; ensuring the quality of training according to the announced output standards; ensuring the basic conditions for theoretical learning, practical learning, process evaluation, thesis defense and graduation exam for students according to regulations.

The Yen Bai Provincial Department of Health is responsible for selecting, receiving and signing contracts with students who have passed the residency program and wish to work long-term in Yen Bai province after graduation. Coordinate with Hanoi Medical University to organize and manage students throughout their studies.

Signing the Contract on principles of training resident physicians is a framework document, creating a legal basis for Hanoi Medical University and Yen Bai Provincial Department of Health to implement specific activities, based on equal cooperation, goodwill and construction, to provide high-quality human resources for the health sector of Yen Bai province.
