Recognizing the importance of fire prevention and fighting (PCCC), in recent times, Hanoi University of Industry (Ha Nam campus) has focused on propaganda and training in fire prevention and fighting skills for staff, lecturers and students. Thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of fire prevention and fighting work at the facility.
Recently, Hanoi University of Industry (Ha Nam campus) has coordinated to organize the contest "Hanoi University of Industry students with fire prevention and rescue (CNCH)". The contest was organized on a large scale and attracted the participation and response of a large number of students studying at the school. The contest included 7 teams from faculties and schools under Hanoi University of Industry (Ha Nam campus): Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Automotive Technology, Faculty of Mechanics, Faculty of Electricity, Faculty of Electronics, Faculty of Business Management and School of Foreign Languages - Tourism .
The contest is divided into 2 parts: the skit contest and the knowledge contest. Through the form of vivid, easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember dramatization, the 7 skits of the competing teams are built on real situations, potential risks of fire safety; propagating knowledge of the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue, the responsibilities of leaders of units and individuals for fire prevention and fighting and rescue work... In the knowledge contest, all 7 competing teams answered 10 multiple-choice questions in the form of choosing the answer ABCD. The content of the questions revolved around legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting and rescue work, skills to handle when a fire occurs... At the end of the 2 contests, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 Third prizes, 3 Second prizes and 1 First prize.
In particular, in the skit competition, with the creativity of the students, the skits cleverly incorporated some humorous situations, attracting viewers; interspersed with emotional stories, admiration, and gratitude to the firefighters who sacrificed themselves for the peace of life. Playing the role of a brave fire police officer rushing into the middle of a fire to rescue and heroically sacrificing himself in the confrontation with the "fire enemy", Tran Quoc Viet (student of the Faculty of Electronics) emotionally shared: "After watching the documentary films about fire prevention and fighting, we were very moved and admired the sacrifice of the fire police officers. This is the inspiration for us to create this skit. We hope that, through the skit, it will help students and people to be more responsible for fire prevention and fighting, more responsible for the community, so that there will be no more sacrifices and losses of fire police officers in the fight against the "fire enemy".

Le Thanh Ngan, a student at the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism (Hanoi University of Industry), shared: To prepare for this competition, we spent a lot of time practicing on weeknights and on holidays. Our team assigned members to search for information online and seek help from teachers about legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting, common fire situations in the community... Through the process of preparing and participating in the competition, we had the opportunity to better understand legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting; were equipped with additional knowledge and skills on fire prevention and fighting; and habits to avoid when using unsafe electrical equipment in student housing.
The contest “Hanoi University of Industry students with fire prevention and rescue” has left an impression with the creativity and dynamism of the youth. Throughout the contest, the message of proactive fire prevention and readiness of vehicles and forces to participate in fire fighting when a fire or explosion occurs has been clearly portrayed by the teams. Through the contest, it has partly reflected the awareness, perception and knowledge of the school's staff, lecturers and students regarding fire prevention and rescue work.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Hau, Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department, Ha Nam Provincial Police, said: Through watching the 7 skits, we highly appreciate the awareness and interest in fire prevention and fighting of the students. The works all relate to the propaganda work on fire prevention and fighting to the people and students, contributing to raising awareness and compliance with fire prevention and fighting laws at the places of residence, study and living. Organizing students to learn and participate in the fire prevention and fighting competition is very meaningful in fire prevention and fighting work at educational institutions. This is a creative, close and easy-to-understand form of propaganda for students. Thereby, it contributes to equipping them with knowledge, skills, initiative and calmness in handling situations that arise when a fire or explosion occurs.
In recent times, Hanoi University of Industry (Ha Nam campus) has always focused on ensuring fire safety in the school. The school regularly coordinates with Ha Nam Provincial Police to organize fire drills at the school; organize conferences to disseminate and train knowledge and skills on fire prevention and rescue for staff, lecturers and students.
Mr. Tran Phuc Hoa, Director of the Student Support Center, Hanoi University of Industry, said: The school has established a Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Steering Committee at training facilities; regularly inspects, reviews, and improves fire safety work. The school also focuses on investing in facilities, installing automatic fire alarm systems, and fire fighting equipment in lecture halls to promptly handle unexpected incidents. In addition, through student forums and the school's electronic training system, it integrates propaganda on fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills and knowledge.
In the coming time, Hanoi University of Industry (Ha Nam campus) will continue to coordinate with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force to organize propaganda programs and provide guidance on fire prevention and rescue skills; incorporate knowledge of fire prevention and rescue into the main and extracurricular programs according to regulations. At the same time, regularly organize inspections and supplement measures to ensure fire prevention and rescue safety at the facility, especially the development of prevention plans, ensuring fire prevention and rescue safety, creating a strong change in awareness and perception for staff, teachers and students, contributing to ensuring security, order and fire prevention and rescue safety.
