Gifted High School announces admission benchmark scores for grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year

Candidates can look up exam results and admission results by entering their registration number and personal identification number at the Portal: https://tuyensinh.ptnk.edu.vn/tracuuketqua from 11:30 a.m. today (June 10).

Admission score for grade 10 entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year of Gifted High School:

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

(a) The total score of the exams in the admission combination is equal to or higher than the announced admission score for the specialized class with higher priority;

(b) Having taken all required exams including 3 non-specialized exams and at least 1 specialized exam; not violating the regulations in the entrance exam; the exams of the corresponding admission combination all achieved a score greater than 2;

(c) The age of students entering grade 10 is 15 years old. For students who are allowed to skip a grade in junior high school or students entering junior high school at an age higher than the prescribed age, the age for entering grade 10 will be reduced or increased based on the age of the year of graduating from junior high school;

(d) The learning and training results of each secondary school year must be Good or higher.

Candidates participating in the 10th grade entrance exam of Gifted High School for the 2025-2026 school year

Candidates who meet the admission requirements need to perform the following 2 steps:

+ Step 1: Fill in additional information about the student's online profile on the same system that registered for the school's admission from June 19. It is recommended to fill in this information before June 26 so that candidates can complete the procedures faster on the day of admission.

+ Step 2: Submit admission application directly at the Gifted High School (District 5 campus) expected between June 26 and June 29.

To encourage students, this year, Gifted High School has the following scholarship forms:

- Grade 10 students with the highest admission score in each specialized block (by each facility) and enrolling in Gifted High School will receive:

+ Full scholarship of 100% of tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year (students receive scholarships by semester, with the conditions for maintaining in semester 2 being training results, learning results in semester 1, school year 2025-2026 are classified as Good).

+ Scholarship from HCM City National University Development Fund

- In each semester, students with the best academic performance in each specialized subject will receive a 100% tuition scholarship for that semester.

- For students with difficult family circumstances, depending on each specific situation, the Scholarship Council will provide one (or more) support grants, including:

+ 50-100% tuition fee reduction for the semester

+ Support for dormitory accommodation costs, up to 1,000,000 VND/student/month

+ Monthly living allowance, maximum 3,000,000 VND/student/month.

+ Support for school uniforms, textbooks, learning materials, transportation, meals, etc.

+ Support 1 or more courses of PTNK-Hub Center (IELTS, SAT, AP, ...)

+ Support for costs of attending extracurricular activities (with fees) of the Gifted High School, VNU-HCM

+ Scholarships from businesses and social organizations (selected and introduced by the School)

Candidates who wish to have their exam papers re-scored must submit their re-scoring application from June 10 to 5:00 p.m. on June 12 .

Previously, on May 24, more than 3,500 9th grade students in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities participated in the entrance exam to 10th grade at the Gifted High School.

According to school statistics, the exam attracted more than 20% of the number of candidates from other provinces, from Da Nang and further south.

In the 2025-2026 school year, this school will enroll 595 students. Of which, the District 5 campus will enroll 245 students in 7 specialized classes including: Math (1 class), Information Technology (1 class), Physics (1 class), Chemistry (1 class), Biology (1 class), English (1 class) and Literature (1 class).

Thu Duc campus recruits 350 students including: 10 specialized classes in Math (2 classes), IT (1 class), Physics (1 class), Chemistry (1 class), Biology (1 class), English (2 classes) and Literature (2 classes).
