On the morning of June 11, many places in Hue City experienced heavy rain due to the influence of the circulation before storm No. 1. The pouring rain caused some low-lying areas in Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa districts to be partially flooded because the water could not drain in time.
Many roads such as Hoang Lanh, Vu Thang, Duong Van An... were flooded about 20-40cm.
In some low-lying areas, many people had to urgently move their cars to high places to avoid flooding.
Along with that, heavy rain right at the time of going to work caused many difficulties. According to many people, it has been a long time since Hue had such a heavy rain in the middle of summer.
The Hue City Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue said that, in response to the development of storm No. 1, the unit has issued an urgent dispatch requesting relevant units to guide ships operating at sea to safe shelters.
Units were also required to be on duty 24/7 due to natural disasters, readying vehicles, human resources, and equipment for rescue. Heavy rain for many hours caused some low-lying areas in Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa districts to be partially flooded because the water could not drain in time.
