This is the second destination in the nationwide launching journey, part of a series of activities to implement the Innovation Startup Competition in the field of high-tech agriculture in 2025, with the goal of spreading the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, connecting regional resources and promoting the strong application of high technology in agriculture .
With the theme “Digital transformation in sustainable agricultural development”, the competition focuses on technological solutions to help improve productivity, quality and traceability of agricultural products, thereby building smart, modern, green and sustainable agriculture.
The competition is organized on a national scale, targeting 6 socio -economic regions, under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and is identified as an annual program until 2030. This is a practical platform to discover and incubate innovative startup ideas in the field of high-tech agriculture; connecting investment - training - market resources; contributing to building a startup ecosystem in Vietnam's agricultural sector to reach the regional level.
Participants are start-ups, youth, students, lecturers of universities, colleges, research units, organizations and individuals nationwide who are interested in and have ideas and technologies suitable for the field of high-tech agriculture.
According to the organizers, the field of ideas and projects in the competition focuses on the field of digital economic development, digital transformation in sustainable agricultural development, such as: management, production, processing, preservation in the field of high-tech agriculture; application of information technology, IoT, big data, blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, robots, drones... in management, production, processing, post-harvest preservation, and traceability of products in the field of high-tech agriculture.
The competition consists of 3 rounds: preliminary, semi-final and final. Ideas and projects that pass the preliminary round will participate in an intensive training course on the following topics: startup skills, business planning, intellectual property, investment calling skills, presentation skills, etc. After the competition ends, potential projects will be selected to be included in the pre-incubation, incubation and acceleration support plan in 2026.
