On November 11, agencies, departments and units of the Information Officer School organized many activities to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Information Officer School's traditional day (November 11, 1951 - November 11, 2025).

74 years ago, in the Viet Bac War Zone, in the fierce circumstances of the resistance war against the French colonialists, in response to the task of building a military communications force and training information officers and staff for the entire army, on November 11, 1951, in Pieng village, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, the Minister of National Defense signed Decision No. 132 to establish the Information School on the basis of merging the Inter-Zone 3 Information School with training classes for information officers and staff of the Information and Communications Department. After 74 years of construction, fighting, development and growth, more than 60,000 graduates of the school have spread to all parts of the country, contributing their efforts and intelligence to the cause of national liberation, building and firmly protecting the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, contributing to further embellishing the glorious tradition of the heroic Information Officer School.

With outstanding contributions in combat, combat service and great contributions in the cause of education and training, the school was honored by the Party and State with the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the renovation period, the Ho Chi Minh Medal and many other noble awards.
