Document sent by the Ward People's Committee to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City for consideration for Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School (formerly Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School 1, Thu Duc City) to organize a capacity survey to enroll 6th grade students for the 2026-2027 school year.

This is to ensure the implementation of the policy of improving the quality of education, maintaining a high-quality school model and meeting the learning needs of students in the ward.

The school's proposed 6th grade enrollment plan for the 2026-2027 school year will enroll 10 6th grade classes (total of 350 students) including 6 integrated English classes and 4 math and science- oriented English classes.

The content and time of the survey are based on the enrollment plan for the first grade classes in the 2026-2027 school year of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, and the Department of Admissions for the first grade classes of the ward.

Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School has conducted a capacity survey to enroll 6th grade students from the 2023-2024 school year to present.

This is a school that implements a high-quality, advanced school model that integrates regionally and internationally. The Ward People's Committee assessed that after 3 years of implementation, the survey of 6th grade entrance capacity for this school is necessary, resolving the pressure of admission in an objective and fair manner, helping students have equal opportunities.

At the same time, the school and locality effectively maintained the model of "School implementing high-quality, advanced educational content integrating regionally and internationally in Ho Chi Minh City", ensuring stable enrollment scale, improving input quality, and actively contributing to local education quality management.

Before the merger, Ho Chi Minh City had 6 secondary schools conducting capacity assessment surveys to enroll 6th graders. Specifically, the schools were: Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School (old District 1), Nguyen An Khuong Secondary School (old Hoc Mon District), Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School (old District 7) and 3 schools in the old Thu Duc City (Hoa Lu Secondary School, Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School and Binh Tho Secondary School).
