Ngoc Ha High School: Promoting career guidance for students

These days, along with completing the school year'seducation program and conducting graduation exam review for 12th graders, high schools in the province are promoting career guidance for students to help them choose a suitable path for their abilities and future goals, ensuring practical effectiveness.

Recently, the Vietnam Women's Academy coordinated with Ngoc Ha High School, Ha Giang city to organize propaganda, career guidance, and enrollment consultation for 2025, attracting more than 800 students in grades 10, 11, and 12. It is known that Ngoc Ha High School has flexibly organized career guidance activities in accordance with the new general education program for many years. Accordingly, from grade 10, the school has provided advice to help students identify their own abilities, choose subject combinations that are suitable for their learning abilities and future careers. Career guidance activities are continuously and periodically implemented by the school for all 3 grades, but pay special attention to career guidance for grade 12 students.

For many years, Ngoc Ha High School has flexibly organized career guidance activities according to the new general education program.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Ngoc Ha High School has 7 12th grade classes with nearly 230 students; through a preliminary survey on the needs of university and vocational training of grade 12, the school has about 20-30% of students who want to apply for university and college. This is the basis for the school to advise and guide students in their careers better. Early career counseling and guidance for students is important in helping students prepare thoroughly and choose the right career path after graduating from high school.
