Therefore, from July 1, 2025, businesses are required to use electronic identification accounts on the VNeID application to access and perform administrative procedures with state agencies. If a new account is not registered, businesses will not be able to log into the system, directly affecting the ability to perform legal, tax, labor, investment procedures, etc. and causing disruption to business operations.
In order to support businesses in timely conversion, the tax authority informs about 2 forms of electronic identification account registration according to Article 12 of Decree 69/2024/ND-CP. Accordingly, for online registration via the VneID application, the legal representative (or legally authorized person) logs into the VNeID application, selects the function of registering an electronic identification account for the business and submits the application. If there are multiple legal representatives, there must be consensus from all.
For direct registration, businesses fill out an account application form (form TK02) and submit it to the electronic identification and authentication management agency - usually the place that issues citizen identification cards or the competent police agency.
The transition to an electronic identification account is part of the national digital transformation process, ensuring both security and transparency of information and improving the efficiency of connections between businesses and management agencies. The tax authority recommends that businesses urgently register for accounts before the deadline to avoid interruptions in the performance of administrative obligations.
