Burst into tears when becoming the national runner-up
In the high school graduation exam, Lang Thi Nguyet Nhi (student of class 12A5, Nghe An Ethnic Minority High School) won 29.5 points in block C00 with 9.5 points in Literature; History and Geography both scored 10 points. With this excellent achievement, Lang Thi Nguyet Nhi became the national runner-up in block C00.
“I was so nervous and really overwhelmed when I found out my exam score. At that time, I didn’t dare to check my score myself. I gave my registration number to a friend to check, and then my friend reported my score. I still couldn’t believe that I got such a high score. After that, I took my registration number to check again, then I burst into tears and called my mother to share my joy. And my emotions exploded when I found out that I became the runner-up of the C00 block nationwide,” Nguyet Nhi shared.

The journey to school of a Thai ethnic girl is a story full of determination. From middle school, she studied at a boarding school, more than 25 km from home. When she entered high school, she continued to take the entrance exam to a boarding school more than 300 km from home. Nhi said that the motivation for her to overcome difficulties and achieve excellent results like now comes from her family. She wants to study well to ease the burden on her parents.
The female student said that this year's high school graduation exam had many changes, making her a bit confused, especially the Literature subject. With History, despite her experience, she still found the multiple choice part quite difficult, especially the first 4 questions, making her think it would be difficult for her to get a perfect score. Meanwhile, Geography was much easier than the questions she had taken before.
“I didn’t take extra classes outside, I only studied with teachers at school. For Literature, I had a foundation from middle school and was enthusiastically taught by my homeroom teacher. For History, I had the advantage of experience in reviewing for provincial-level excellent student exams. As for Geography, I didn’t pay much attention at first, I only accelerated my studies when I was in 12th grade,” Nguyet Nhi said.

In the near future, Nguyet Nhi plans to enroll in the History Pedagogy major at Hanoi National University of Education, hoping to become a teacher in the future. She also honestly shared that choosing the pedagogy major was partly due to the tuition fee factor, which is suitable for her family's economic conditions.
Learn to change your life
Also excelling in becoming the runner-up of the C00 block nationwide with 29.5 points, Lo Thi Na Ni (student of class 12A5, Nghe An Ethnic Minority High School) shared: “I was really surprised. I looked at the computer screen for a long time before I could believe my eyes. When my teachers and friends told me that I was the runner-up of the C00 block nationwide, this achievement far exceeded my expectations.”

Born and raised in the mountains of Huoi Xa village, Nhon Mai commune - a particularly difficult border commune of Nghe An province, Na Ni's path to pursuing knowledge has been thorny. Therefore, she always cherishes the opportunity to study and tries to study well with the dream of being able to change her life.
The Thai ethnic female student always sets clear learning goals for herself. Before becoming the runner-up of the national C00 block, Na Ni had made her mark with many outstanding achievements. During her three years of high school, she was always an excellent student, winning the second prize in the provincial excellent student category in Literature. In addition, the female student also actively participated in many extracurricular activities and won the second prize in the contest "Startup ideas and projects for Nghe An youth in 2025" organized by Nghe An Provincial Youth Union. Notably, after finishing grade 12, Na Ni was honored to be admitted to the Party.

Knowing that this year's exam will have many changes, Na Ni has built her own study schedule and method. Pursuing social subjects, Na Ni spends a lot of time reading documents and updating her life knowledge. That is valuable data for her to apply in the exam process.
The female student also emphasized the importance of mastering the basic knowledge, then practicing a lot, taking notes of mistakes and asking teachers when she does not understand. In particular, Na Ni always reminds herself to study with an optimistic mindset, stay calm when doing the test and read the questions carefully so as not to miss any requirements. With the achievements, Na Ni will pursue her dream of studying International Communication at the Diplomatic Academy.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Hoa, Principal of Nghe An Province Ethnic Minority High School, shared: “Lang Thi Nguyet Nhi and Lo Thi Na Ni are two diligent and good students. Today’s results are a testament to their hard work, dedication and diligence in studying. They are proof of the belief that with determination and effort, anyone can achieve their dreams.”
