At Hai Thanh Secondary School (Tinh Gia Ward), to ensure the organization of 2 sessions/day according to the new general education program, the school asked for the opinion of the local government to renovate and temporarily borrow the ward headquarters (old) as a place to teach students.
After merging and operating the 2-level local government, the headquarters of the People's Committee of Hai Thanh Ward (old) was abandoned, while the adjacent Hai Thanh Secondary School was facing difficulties in organizing 2 sessions/day due to lack of classrooms. Faced with this situation, Hai Thanh Secondary School submitted a document to the People's Committee of Tinh Gia Ward, requesting permission to use the office block and conference center of the headquarters of the People's Committee of Hai Thanh Ward (old) to promptly implement 2 sessions/day according to the new program.
With the approval of the People's Committee of Tinh Gia Ward, Hai Thanh Secondary School has moved the entire administrative block including the head office, principal's office, vice principal's office, professional activity room, meeting room, office and auxiliary rooms to work at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Hai Thanh Ward (old). This relocation helps the school have more room fund to renovate into 2 cultural classrooms to serve students. Along with that, the school coordinated with the local government to renovate the conference center of Hai Thanh Ward (old), partitioning and connecting walls appropriately to arrange 3 more cultural classrooms.
According to Mr. Vo Tuyen, Principal of Hai Thanh Secondary School, in the 2025-2026 school year, the school faces many difficulties in terms of facilities. The school can only accommodate 23 classrooms, while the actual number of classes is 28, lacking 5 classrooms. In this situation, the school has converted 2 principal offices into cultural classrooms, and at the same time, partitioned the conference center of Hai Thanh ward (old) to arrange 3 more classrooms. Thanks to that, up to now, it has basically ensured enough rooms to serve teaching and learning 2 sessions/day according to the new general education program.
However, all the current classrooms were built 20-25 years ago and have seriously degraded, affecting teaching and learning conditions. In addition, the school is short of 12 cultural teachers, forcing it to increase teaching sessions and extra periods. The school hopes that authorities at all levels will soon pay attention to investing and upgrading facilities to improve the quality of education, meeting the requirements of teaching and learning in the new period.
At Hai Thanh Secondary School, Tinh Gia Ward, all educational activities are still taking place normally according to the program and plan. In the 3 temporarily renovated classrooms, teachers and students are still absorbed in their lessons and writing.
Teacher Nguyen Thi Dung, a teacher at the school, said that due to improper use of the classrooms, the area is cramped, hot, and noisy. However, teachers and students still encourage each other to overcome difficulties and shortages to complete the program well. Ms. Dung hopes that the authorities at all levels will soon pay attention to investing in building a new school so that students will have a spacious and solid school to study.

In Tinh Gia ward, Thanh Hoa province, there are currently 17 public schools from kindergarten to junior high school. Of these, 14 schools have met the standards, while the remaining 3 schools have not been recognized because they have not met the criteria for facilities.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Dinh, Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Tinh Gia Ward, in the 2025-2026 school year, despite the attention of the government and the education sector in investing, repairing and upgrading facilities, some schools in the area still face many difficulties, such as Hai Thanh Secondary School, which was built more than 25 years ago and is now seriously degraded and needs to be invested in and rebuilt soon. In the coming time, the ward will have a report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training on the current state of degradation of the schools, proposing investment policies to upgrade and build new ones to meet the teaching and learning requirements in the current period.
Along with the difficulties in facilities, according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training , in the 2025-2026 school year, the education sector of Tinh Gia ward is lacking 138 workers, including 78 teachers at all levels. The People's Committee of Tinh Gia ward hopes that the province and the education sector will continue to pay attention and support investment in facilities, while at the same time arranging more teachers for schools, helping students have a more spacious, safe and high-quality learning environment.
It is known that in the 2025-2026 school year, after many years of petitions and proposals, many schools in Thanh Hoa province have started construction or approved investment policies for renovation and upgrading, bringing joy and opening up hope for solid, spacious schools that meet the requirements of educational innovation. Specifically, Hai Thanh Primary School (Tinh Gia Ward) has started construction of three new three-story school buildings with a total investment of nearly 32 billion VND. For Hai Ha Kindergarten, Hai Ha Primary School and Hai Ha Secondary School (Nghi Son Ward), based on the report on the current situation of the ward People's Committee, Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has approved the policy of supporting funding to invest in renovation, repair and overcoming the deterioration at the schools, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province requested the Department of Finance to review and report to competent authorities to partially support the funding for Nghi Son Ward People's Committee to carry out repairs and renovations. Nghi Son Ward People's Committee proactively has solutions to overcome the deterioration of the works, ensuring safety for students and teachers...
