Career counseling for middle school students

On October 1, in Thai Binh , the Central Council of Young Pioneers coordinated with the Council of Young Pioneers of Thai Binh province, IDP International Dairy Joint Stock Company - Lof Malto brand to organize a career counseling, orientation and experience day for middle school students.

At the festival, students listened to the sharing of psychological experts with the topic " Discover and understand yourself"; received advice and experienced 05 typical career groups: Engineering; Research; Arts; Social and professional; Management. Members of the Advisory Board guided students to make their own study plans, orienting their majors to the career group they chose.

On this occasion, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers awarded 20 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, and a gift set to 20 disadvantaged children in Thai Binh. In addition, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, IDP International Dairy Joint Stock Company - Malto Brand presented more than 380 gifts to more than 380 team members, teenagers and teachers who were Team Leaders participating in the program.

Career counseling, guidance and experience activities for young team members and teenagers in secondary schools are one of the key contents of the program "Vietnamese Youth - Cultivating virtues and talents, leading the future". This is a meaningful program with high appeal andeducational value, orientation for students and it is also a great passion of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers and accompanying units to bring children a useful playground, with many opportunities to experience; create an environment for them to learn, exchange, improve their spirit of self-study, explore their own abilities; thereby, contributing to career orientation suitable for each of them.

Building data from experts and deploying career guidance applications helps 8th and 9th graders have a bridge to think and have the beginnings to learn about their passions, strengths, abilities, and needs and society; from there, early identify the career fields that need attention, investment, and focus time to accumulate appropriate knowledge and experience. During this learning process, students will have a clearer orientation as a basis for choosing the majors and key paths later, have the right focus so that the chosen path is the most solid and favorable, while reducing the pressure of studying from other fields.

It is known that recently, the application "Career Guidance - Lead With Lof" has recorded the participation in career guidance experiences of 568,935 junior high school students nationwide, of which 807 children from Thai Binh province registered and participated in career guidance experience activities on the application./.
