The main driving force for the increase came from a number of large-cap stocks, especially VIC – the first company in the Vietnamese market to reach a capitalization of 1 quadrillion VND. This is considered an important milestone in the context of the market expecting an upgrade in 2026.
At the end of the week, VN-Index increased by 2.18% to 1,690.99 points and approached the 1,700 point threshold.

Cash flow tends to shift to financial services, electricity, tourism and entertainment sectors, reflecting expectations of improved profits in these sectors. In contrast, cash flow into food production, construction - materials and metal sectors decreased slightly.
Liquidity improved but was still significantly lower than the monthly average, showing cautious cash flow sentiment.
By the end of November 2025, the VN-Index increased by 3.13% compared to the previous month. However, liquidity decreased sharply, showing limited short-term opportunities as the market entered an accumulation phase after a strong increase and began the year-end portfolio restructuring cycle. This reflects the caution of new cash flows, which need to be carefully assessed based on the growth plan and prospects for 2026.
According to experts fromACB Securities Company, VN-Index is likely to maintain its upward momentum and approach the important resistance zone of 1,700 points - a milestone confirming the possibility of escaping the prolonged correction trend. However, due to the lack of liquidity, the possibility of conquering the 1,700 point threshold in the short term is still not high.
Experts from Vietnam Construction Securities Joint Stock Company recommend that investors continue to hold the portfolio they have purchased for exploration and only increase the proportion moderately in profitable stocks during correction sessions. Strong net buying needs to wait for confirmation signals from liquidity, avoiding increasing the proportion of stocks above 70% when the market still lacks large cash flow.
Some other experts recommend that investors maintain a reasonable proportion and prioritize stocks with good fundamentals, in the top group of the industry and benefit from the overall growth of the economy .
