In the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and to enhance exchanges between units, maintain sports and cultural activities, encourage the spirit of workers, create a vibrant atmosphere for the movements of the Corporation in 2024, on the morning of June 29, in Vung Tau city, Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation ( PTSC ) opened the 2024 Sports Festival and Mass Arts Festival. Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, President of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union; and representatives of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union Committees.
On the side of PTSC leaders, there were Mr. Phan Thanh Tung - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation; Mr. Le Manh Cuong - General Director of the Corporation; Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan - Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Corporation; representatives of the leaders of the Corporation and the Trade Union through the periods; members of the Board of Directors, Board of Directors; Trade Union, Veterans Association, Youth Union of the Corporation; along with a large number of cadres, workers and more than 500 athletes from 19 units in the whole Corporation.
In the presence of delegates, athletes, referees, and a large audience of officers and employees of the Corporation, Deputy General Director and Chairman of PTSC Trade Union Nguyen Tran Toan beat the drum to officially open the 2024 PTSC Sports Festival.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Sports Festival, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC Corporation Phan Thanh Tung emphasized, "2024 is the year PTSC is developing many new projects, following the new direction of energy transition.
The sports festival and art performance aim to create exchanges and solidarity among employees; at the same time, encourage and motivate employees to enthusiastically compete in production and labor, contributing to the effective implementation of production and business activities, striving to exceed the 2024 plan of the unit and the Corporation. On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC wishes the athletes many achievements in the spirit of solidarity, honesty and safe competition.
After the opening ceremony, the competitions took place between the teams participating in the Sports Festival. The exciting and interesting tug of war competition after the opening ceremony brought the Sports Festival lots of laughter and excitement filled with joy. The Sports Festival took place over 2 days, June 29 and 30, with many competitions: Men's Football, Women's Football, Tug of War, Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, Swimming.
Mr. Tran Xuan Dung from PTSC M&C excitedly shared: "I feel very happy to participate in the PTSC Sports Festival and will try my best to compete, determined to achieve the highest results. This year's Sports Festival has a large number of athletes participating and has time to prepare, so the atmosphere is very exciting". Ms. Dang Thi Tam, an employee of the Petroleum Hotel, expressed: "I would like to thank the Board of Directors of the Corporation for creating opportunities for employees of the units to exchange and connect with each other. I feel very happy and excited about the Sports Festival taking place in our beautiful coastal city".
And at 4:00 p.m. on the same day, at the Youth Cultural House, No. 160, Ha Long, Ward 2, Vung Tau City, the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 PTSC Mass Arts Festival will take place. The festival includes singing, dancing, and music genres through the following formats: Male and female solo; Male and female duets; Male and female trios; Male and female groups, female groups, and mixed and female choirs; Independent dance; Solo performance of traditional musical instruments; Male and female choirs...
