The volunteer delegation from Ha Tinh province and the Youth Union of Bolikhamsai province (Lao People's Democratic Republic) exchanged best practices, experiences, and methods in youth union work and jointly implemented many meaningful volunteer activities.
On June 14th, in Bolikhamsai province (Lao People's Democratic Republic), the Ha Tinh Provincial Volunteer Delegation, led by Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and President of the Provincial Youth Federation, held a seminar to exchange experiences with the Bolikhamsai Provincial Youth Union and conducted activities at several units in the neighboring province. Welcoming and working with the delegation, on the Bolikhamsai province's side were Comrade Bun Kham Say Dia Lo Vu - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee of Bolikhamsai; Comrade Van Na Xin Son Vi Lay - Deputy Secretary of the Bolikhamsai Provincial Youth Union; and representatives of the leadership of Kham Khet district. |
During the program, youth unions from the two provinces exchanged best practices, experiences, and methods in youth union work, especially in volunteer work, administrative reform, supporting youth entrepreneurship, propaganda, public opinion guidance, youth education , and experiences in building new rural areas... Also within the framework of the program, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Federation of Youth Associations presented and inaugurated a vegetable garden project for the children...
... awarded 30 scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds and donated 400 bags of medical supplies to the Kham Khet District Ethnic Boarding School in Bolikhamsai Province.
The Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union provided 100 orange saplings and proceeded to plant them at the Kham Cot District Ethnic Boarding School.
On this occasion, the "Provincial-level Pink Holiday" team, consisting of doctors and medical staff from the Ha Tinh Young Doctors Association and representatives from specialized departments and agencies, organized medical examinations and distributed medicine to 300 people in Thong Viengkham village, Kham Cot district...
...and training in agricultural science and technology transfer for young people in Laos. The total cost of these activities was over 180 million VND.
