Quang Binh Youth - Aspiration to Contribute

CELEBRATION OF THE 94TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING OF THE HO CHI MINH COMMUNIST YOUTH UNION (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025)

(QBĐT) - Along with the youth of the whole country, in recent years, the Youth Union members of Quang Binh have continuously strived to work creatively, implemented volunteer campaigns and start-up movements, affirming the pioneering role of the young generation in the construction and development of their homeland and country.

Pioneering and innovating for development

Master, Doctor Tran Thanh Toan (born in 1993), working at the Department of Cardiology, Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital Dong Hoi is an outstanding young doctor. He not only excellently completes his professional tasks but also actively participates in scientific research and applies advanced techniques to his work.

With a spirit of proactive learning and constant creativity, Mr. Toan has had two scientific research topics published in international journals and one topic published in a prestigious journal in Vietnam.

“For a young doctor, studying is extremely important, because it helps accumulate both professional knowledge and practical experience. In particular, one of the most important activities is scientific research because modern medicine is evidence-based medicine. Scientific research will find the best treatment methods for patients,” Mr. Tran Thanh Toan shared.

In social activities, Mr. Toan is always ready to devote himself to the community, participating in free medical examination and treatment programs for ethnic minorities in remote areas; and is an active member of the living blood bank club at the hospital.

Captain Le Chi Huy (born in 1993), Deputy Captain of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC-CNCH), Provincial Police always strives to excellently complete assigned tasks, while always upholding the sense of responsibility for the Union work and youth movement of the unit.

Not only good at his job, as Secretary of the Youth Union, he proactively built plans and implemented many effective programs, such as: "Propaganda on drowning prevention and control" for students, "Propaganda on fire prevention and control and giving fire extinguishers"... contributing to raising community awareness. With his creative spirit, Mr. Huy has had many useful initiatives, such as: Building QR codes to help people access fire prevention and control documents; manufacturing fire helmets with integrated flashlights; youth scanners to support submitting public service applications...

Mr. Huy said: “As the “locomotive” of the Union activities and youth movements, I actively initiate, organize and encourage young union members to participate in activities enthusiastically and passionately. Thereby, creating great motivation to encourage cadres and soldiers to strive to excellently complete assigned tasks”...

These outstanding achievements have helped Tran Thanh Toan and Le Chi Huy become 2 of the 9 "Outstanding Young Faces of the Province in 2024". They are outstanding representatives in different fields but share a common aspiration to contribute and strongly inspire the Youth Union members in the province.

Passionate dedication

Since the beginning of 2025, the Youth Union and youth movement have achieved many remarkable results, bringing many positive effects to society. Notably, the youth volunteer movement continues to be promoted with many practical activities, such as: Building "Charity Houses", playgrounds for children, giving bicycles to poor students... with a total value of more than 5 billion VND; the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has been actively implemented, mobilizing 3,587 working days to repair 313 houses and build 346 new houses.

Environmental protection activities also received active participation from the Youth Union. Notably, the program “Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho” planted 32,873 trees on an area of ​​nearly 20 hectares, contributing to creating a green, clean and beautiful landscape.

Encourage the application of digital transformation in youth movement activities.

In social security work, volunteer programs for children in disadvantaged areas have brought joy to 850 poor students in Bo Trach and Tuyen Hoa districts with a total value of more than 400 million VND. The youth project "Lighting up the border" with a solar energy lighting system worth 150 million VND has helped people in border areas have more convenient travel conditions.

Career and employment support activities have also been widely implemented, in which the Youth Employment Service Center has provided career counseling to more than 2,210 young people, supporting 176 young people to find jobs. The Youth Entrepreneurship Movement is increasingly spreading strongly with support for the construction of 5 youth economic models, helping young people start businesses and develop sustainable economies...

The results achieved are clear evidence of the will to strive and the aspiration to rise up of the youth in the province. With the leadership of the Provincial Youth Union and the enthusiasm of each member, we believe that the youth of Quang Binh will continue to create strong impressions, contributing to the construction of the increasingly developed homeland.
