"Trang An Firewall - Digital Trap Project" is the first TV series to comprehensively exploit the topic of high-tech crime prevention, reflecting the tense battle of wits between the police force and cross-border digital crime rings.
The first episode of the film aired on channel H1 ( Hanoi Radio and Television) from November 7 and attracted 3 million views on digital platforms.
After that impressive start, on November 14, Hanoi Radio and Hanoi City Police held a ceremony to launch the film.
Journalist Nguyen Kim Khiem, Editor-in-Chief and General Director of Hanoi Radio, said the film uses material distilled from real cases solved by Hanoi City Police in 2024, providing a realistic and thorny perspective while honoring the silent feats of the capital's security forces.

Going beyond the framework of a TV series, the project is an effort of Hanoi City Police and Hanoi Radio in propagating and warning people about fraudulent tricks in the digital space, helping to improve knowledge to protect themselves and their families when participating in the online environment.
The story begins when a family in Hanoi, in an effort to recover money lost on a virtual currency exchange, accidentally falls deep into a complex and dangerous underground world . 45 episodes will take the audience into the world of high-tech crime, exposing the sophisticated traps that bad guys are setting across cyberspace.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Hanoi City Police, said that "Trang An Firewall" is not only a television work of artistic value, but also a vivid propaganda activity, realistically recreating the image of the Capital Police soldiers in the fierce fight against high-tech crimes - a type of crime that is increasingly sophisticated and complicated.

According to Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, in recent years, the situation of high-tech crimes has had many complicated developments. In the first 10 months of 2025, the whole city discovered 1,787 cases of fraud and property appropriation, accounting for 35% of the total number of criminal cases, causing damage of more than 925 billion VND.
These figures show that high-tech crime and cyber fraud remain a major challenge, requiring the Capital Police force to proactively grasp the situation, synchronously deploy professional measures, resolutely attack and suppress crime; at the same time requiring the synchronous participation of all levels and sectors and raising the vigilance and prevention awareness of the whole society.
Along with prevention work, Hanoi City Police have successfully fought many major and outstanding cases and these achievements have become the inspiration for the film "Trang An Firewall" .
Throughout the production process, Hanoi City Police accompanied the film crew, from providing professional content advice to preparing the best conditions in terms of personnel, vehicles and facilities.
“It is both our responsibility and pride to contribute to a meaningful work that serves the public. I believe that the film will not only win over television audiences, but also contribute to educating traditions, fostering trust, pride and solidarity between the Capital Police force and the People - a relationship that has become a force to maintain peace in the thousand-year-old capital,” Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung emphasized./.
