Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province Nguyen Manh Tuan emphasized that the National Assembly Standing Committee relic site is located in the Tan Trao special national historical relic complex, in Tan Trao commune.

This was the residence and workplace of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and President Ton Duc Thang, from 1952 to 1954.

The relic site is closely associated with the formation and development of the Vietnamese National Assembly. It bears the mark of years of arduous activities and glorious victories of the cadres and staff of the National Assembly Standing Committee in the long resistance war against French colonialism.
