At a cafe on Tran Quang Dieu Street (Dong Da District, Hanoi ), the interior space is divided into several areas with diverse decorative styles, catering to customers' photography needs.
The cafe was packed with customers enjoying drinks and taking souvenir photos. The clientele ranged in age from young children and teenagers to middle-aged individuals.

Nguyen Duc Giang, the store manager, shared that previously, the shop didn't target customers who checked in on social media, but for the upcoming holiday, they came up with a decorating idea and implemented it within a week. Taking advantage of the existing tiled roof, the shop aimed for nostalgic elements reminiscent of old Northern Vietnamese cultural houses, combined with flags and flowers made of fabric, creating a rustic and intimate atmosphere.
In addition, the cafe also had the idea of creating a backdrop using street name signs, naming the streets after Independence, Liberation, and Dien Bien Phu, and erecting victory announcement boards. Notably, the drinks served during this occasion were all attractively decorated, with added stickers of the national flag.

According to Duc Giang, as early as August 2nd, when the shop's decorations were finalized, the number of customers checking in at the cafe was very high, significantly higher than on normal days. The cafe plans to keep this decorated space until September 2nd.
At another cafe on Vo Van Dung Street (Dong Da District, Hanoi), which has a special design to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the tables are also always full.
According to Ms. Truong Ha Phuong, the owner of the brand, the number of customers checking in at the cafe increases significantly on weekends, with some days recording over 500 visitors even in the rain. At times, they have to turn away customers because there is no longer enough space to accommodate them.

Ha Phuong shared that, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the cafe came up with the idea of designing many banners expressing love for the country, and incorporating old stamps to create a beautiful background for customers to take photos. In addition, the space was decorated with flags, conical hats, the national flag, and a map of Vietnam, which customers really enjoyed.
The drinks for this occasion were also creatively designed, featuring a collection of drinks themed around National Day, Independence, and Freedom. The top of each drink was cleverly covered with a red flag with a yellow star made from crumbs of cake, and the outside of the cup was also designed with the image of the national flag.

Le Tieu Khuong (born in 2003), a student at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, along with three friends, recently traveled from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi to participate in activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd. The cafes decorated with flags and flowers celebrating Independence Day were among the first places Tieu Khuong and her friends visited.
“My friends and I missed the 50th anniversary celebration of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country because we were busy studying for exams, so this time we wanted to stay in Hanoi for a long time to fully experience all the activities. I feel very happy to be at these cafes because of the lively atmosphere and the many backdrops for taking pictures,” said Tieu Khuong.

Hoang Linh (born in 1996, Hanoi) said she arrived at the cafe early to choose the best backdrops for her photos. Linh had prepared a conical hat and a Vietnamese flag, combining them with a white outfit to highlight the accessories.
"Seeing everyone here wearing traditional Vietnamese dresses and taking photos with the national flag makes me very happy and proud. I also hope to have some beautiful photos to commemorate this occasion," Linh shared.
