Foreign Language University announced the admission quota and combination for 14 majors.
Regarding admission methods, the school uses 5 methods, including: direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , considering high school graduation exam results, considering foreign language certificates combined with high school graduation exam results, considering results of the high school student capacity assessment test organized by Hanoi National University, considering certificates combined with high school study results.

With the method of considering the ability assessment test scores, the school requires the English component score to be at least 30/50 points. Admission is based on a 150-point scale, then converted to a 30-point scale according to the standard conversion formula of Hanoi National University and priority points are added according to regulations.
With the method of considering certificates combined with academic records, the school only considers candidates who are high school students of Hanoi National University or specialized students, with academic results of all 3 years of high school with excellent or higher.
Candidates use the certificate converted to a 10-point scale, calculate the coefficient of 2, combine with the results of the 6-term transcripts of the remaining 2 subjects in the admission combination, then convert to a 30-point scale and add priority points according to regulations. In addition, the additional condition is that candidates must achieve a minimum score of 8 points in Math or a minimum score of 15 points in 2 subjects of Math and Literature in the high school graduation exam.
This year, the school will add 1.5-3 points to candidates who won prizes in national excellent student competitions, high school Olympic competitions of Hanoi National University, excellent high school students of Hanoi National University, excellent students of provincial/city level. Candidates participating in the VNU 12+ program with good results will be added 1.5-2.5 points. Candidates with SAT, ACT, A-Level certificates will be added 1-2 points.
