Lieutenant Colonel NGUYEN CONG LUONG, Commander of Regiment 3, Division 324, Military Region 4:
Important milestones of the soldier
After 3 months of training, the unit has successfully completed the CSM training content and program according to the set plan. During the training process, the Regiment paid special attention to political and ideological education, closely linking training with formal training and discipline training. Thanks to that, CSMs are always assured in their work, clearly identify their motivations, sense of responsibility, strive to study, cultivate and train. The results of the training content test showed that 100% met the requirements, more than 82% achieved good and excellent grades; there were no weak soldiers.

As planned, Regiment 3 will hold the CSM oath-taking ceremony on June 4. This is an important milestone, with profound meaning for each CSM; a sacred moment to help each soldier better understand the meaning and importance of the training mission; promote the spirit and high responsibility when joining the ranks of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), vowing to live, fight, and sacrifice for the noble ideals of the Party and the nation.
The ceremony also created a strong motivation, added confidence and will for the CSM to step more firmly on the next journey. The road ahead for the CSMs is still full of difficulties and challenges, especially for a main force unit with enough troops. However, with the spirit, will and mettle that have been tempered over the past time, we believe that the soldiers will continue to promote the achieved results, strive to overcome difficulties, constantly strive, train, and promote the capacity and good qualities of a revolutionary soldier, maintain and promote the glorious tradition of the heroic 3rd Regiment - Thuan Hoa Group, ready to receive and excellently complete all tasks.

Captain DO VAN VUONG, Captain of Company 10, Battalion 9, Regiment 18, Division 325, Corps 12:
No matter what position, complete the task well.
Through the "3 explosions" test, my unit's rate of good and excellent shooting was 71.76%; grenade throwing was 100% good and excellent; explosives use was 100% excellent, contributing to the overall achievements of the battalion and regiment, ranking first in the overall formation of the 325th Division. During the 3 months of CSM training, in addition to the general concern, we paid special attention to comrades with difficult family circumstances and were very impressed with Private Nguyen Huu Tranh, Squad 10, Platoon 6.
Before joining the army, Huu Tranh worked in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, his wife was from Ha Nam province. Despite his special circumstances, Huu Tranh always completed all assigned tasks well, was exemplary, tried hard and achieved excellent results in the CSM test. On June 4, our unit held a CSM oath-taking ceremony. This is a milestone to recognize the maturity of each soldier after 3 months of getting used to the military environment. Preparing to return to the new unit, entering the new training phase, we encouraged and advised our brothers, no matter what position they were in, what tasks they were assigned, to strictly follow the organization's assignments, complete all tasks well, and promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers.

Senior Lieutenant TA ANH MY, Platoon Leader of Platoon 1, Company 5, Battalion 2, Regiment 4, Division 5, Military Region 7:
Make good use of the knowledge and skills learned and practiced
After 3 months of training, the soldiers have mastered and performed well the basic contents of team regulations, infantry combat techniques, shooting, physical training and Army regulations. This shows the efforts of each individual as well as the close and scientific training of the unit.
Our unit's CSM oath-taking ceremony will be held on June 4. This is a moment to mark maturity, create motivation, confidence, and determination for each soldier to successfully complete their tasks in the next phase. We hope that each soldier will promote what they have learned and trained in the past 3 months, uphold the will and determination of youth, and excellently complete all tasks, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, the Army, and the people.

Sergeant VU VAN QUAN, Battery Commander of Battery 1, Platoon 1, Company 1, Battalion 1, Air Defense Brigade 214, Military Region 3:
Clear mission, high determination
More than a year ago, I was honored to be selected to take the oath at the CSM Oath Ceremony. Upon hearing the news, I was very excited but also nervous and worried because I would stand in front of hundreds of officers and soldiers, shouting the 10 honorable oaths of the Vietnam People's Army under the Victory Flag. With the commander's permission, I called my family to inform them of the news and to hope to receive encouragement, support, and advice from my parents. I also confided in my teammates, the soldiers who had enlisted earlier, and shared my concerns with the Platoon Leader. With the encouragement, advice, and correction of my demeanor and tone from my family, commander, and teammates, I practiced many times and became more confident, completing the assigned tasks well.
After completing CSM training, I was transferred to the 214th Air Defense Brigade and encountered some difficulties in the new unit. In addition, the specialized air defense training content was completely different from previous infantry combat techniques and tactics training, requiring quick reactions, not only mastering the tasks at one's combat position but also knowing techniques and tactics to be ready to replace other gunners in the battery.
Understanding the difficulties of me and my teammates, the training process, the unit commander communicated specifically, meticulously, illustrated with vivid, intuitive images and focused on checking and correcting each operation. In my opinion, when entering a new training phase, in a new unit, soldiers need to proactively learn from the commander and soldiers who have been in the unit before them to get used to the routine of living and training; avoid being subjective, "relaxing" after completing the CSM training program. The most important thing is to always clearly define responsibilities, tasks and be determined to complete them.

Private LE HOANG NINH, Squad 4, Platoon 1, Company 10, Battalion 4, Engineer Brigade 25, Military Region 9:
Great honor
During the CSM training, I always tried to study, practice, follow the regimes, routines, and strictly follow discipline. With the guidance and enthusiastic help of commanders at all levels, my teammates and I gradually overcame the initial awkward days. I passed the 3-explosion test and political education, and I was excellent. I have many memories in the past 3 months, especially with the Platoon Leader. One weekend afternoon, my unit practiced shooting AK guns using live ammunition, but because I was nervous and not used to the high intensity of training, my hands were shaking so much that I couldn't pull the trigger. Discovering that, the Platoon Leader walked over, put his hand on my shoulder, and gently said: "Calm down, take a deep breath! You've been practicing every week, now you just need to believe in yourself" and stood by me, reminding me of each step. Thanks to that, I regained my composure and completed the shooting...
When I heard that I was chosen to represent the CSMs to take the oath before the Victory Flag, I was truly moved. It was not only an honor but also a testament to my tireless efforts during the 3 months of arduous training. This will be an unforgettable memory in my military career.
Before saying goodbye to us and going to our new units, the commanders at all levels also encouraged and advised us to promote our assigned roles and responsibilities, always be proactive, creative, overcome all difficulties and challenges to complete our tasks in the best possible way. I also clearly determined that the upcoming tasks will be full of hardships and challenges, but they are also the honor and responsibility of citizens towards the Fatherland and will always strictly abide by military discipline, uphold the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, constantly learn and practice to improve our political qualities, and contribute to the unit's excellent completion of all tasks.

Private PHAN VAN LUONG, Squad 7, Platoon 3, Company 9, Battalion 6, Regiment 148, Division 316, Military Region 2:
The soldier's promise of honor
During the past 3 months, my teammates and I have undergone a serious, arduous but also very meaningful training process. Thanks to the care, guidance and encouragement from the commander and teammates, my test results were all excellent. What impressed me most during this time was the dedication, closeness and exemplary behavior of the commanders. They always stood side by side with us in every training session, meal and sleep. I remember the first days of joining the army, my squad had a comrade with a high fever, the commanders from the platoon to the company always expressed their concern and worry... That image made me respect and understand more about the sacred comradeship.
In recent meetings, the commanders have repeatedly shared and advised us about the tasks ahead. They emphasized that the past 3 months of training were just the beginning, the foundation for us to continue training and completing our tasks well in the coming time. They also advised us to always maintain our stance and ideology, constantly study and practice to improve our professional qualifications and skills, and be ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks well in any circumstances. Being chosen as the representative of the CSMs to take the oath, I feel extremely honored and proud. Under the Quyet Thang Military Flag, my oath is also a promise, an affirmation of the determination of all CSMs before the Party, the Army and the people...
