Cambodian player who participated in AFF Cup twice passed away at the age of 25

Last night, Tes Sambath's home team Visakha confirmed that the player had a traffic accident. He had an accident while traveling by motorbike. The 25-year-old player then fell into a river in the capital Phnom Penh.

For the past 2 years, when the Cambodian national team pursued the naturalization policy, Tes Sambath could not compete for a position with defenders of foreign blood such as Takaki Ose, Kan Mo, Hikaru Mizuno, so he was no longer called up to the national team. The number of matches Tes Sambath has played for the national team is currently 27.

At the club, Tes Sambath is an important member of Visakha Club. The 25-year-old player has made important contributions to help this team regularly appear in the Top 3 of the National Championship, just behind the two giants Phnom Penh Crown and Svay Rieng.
