MU confirmed to sell Garnacho in the summer of 2025.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, MU has given the green light to part with Garnacho if they receive an attractive enough offer. "MU is ready to let Garnacho go if there is a suitable offer for both parties," Romano affirmed.

The Italian journalist emphasized that the "Red Devils" want to clean up their squad to focus on big deals in the summer. Garnacho is on the list of players to be sold because he can help the Old Trafford club balance their finances.

The Athletic further reported that, immediately after the defeat in the Europa League final, coach Amorim had a closed meeting with the entire team at Carrington. Here, he confirmed that he would continue to lead MU next season and publicly asked Garnacho to find a new destination. This decision put an end to Garnacho's future at MU.

The 2004-born star impressed with his daring sprints and skillful individual techniques. However, last season saw a decline and worrying rifts between him and coach Amorim. Things came to a head after the defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final on May 22 when Garnacho was only sent off the bench and expressed his dissatisfaction.

Garnacho was unhappy with Amorim's use of players, as he was constantly benched in key matches. The relationship between the two sides became more tense when the young player's brother publicly criticized the Portuguese coach on social media. Garnacho himself also had a negative reaction when he was substituted, causing him to lose points in the eyes of the coaching staff.

Despite scoring 26 goals in 144 appearances and being expected to be the new symbol of Old Trafford, Garnacho's relationship with MU is now only counted in days. In the context of MU standing 16th in the Premier League, Amorim and the board of directors clearly chose a new direction by being uncompromising.
