Kevin Diks is playing for Monchengladbach in Germany.

The Indonesian international played the full 90 minutes, standing out with impressive statistics: contributing 12 defensive situations, making 7 ball recoveries, winning 5/7 duels, and completing 55/59 passes (93% rate), including 7/8 long passes and one pass into the opponent's final third.

Kevin Diks had a memorable day as a left-sided centre-back in Gladbach's defence, scoring Gladbach's first Bundesliga win since late March.

Borussia Mönchengladbach have been a consistent Bundesliga side since 2008, but they have been in serious decline recently. On the day Diks shone, Gladbach finally broke the streak, crushing St. Pauli 4-0.

In August, Kevin Diks marked a historic milestone for Indonesian football when he played in the Bundesliga for Monchengladbach in the match against Hamburg SV in the opening round of the 2025/26 season.

The Indonesian international made history by becoming the first Indonesian player to play in the Bundesliga. Valued at over 4.5 million euros, Diks is one of the most notable Southeast Asian players in Europe at the moment.

He was born in 1996, his mother is of Indonesian origin. This defender was trained at Vitesse (Netherlands), then moved to Fiorentina in Serie A, then arrived at Copenhagen in 2021, before being recruited by Monchengladbach.
