Propaganda to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the success of the August Revolution

At the conference, delegates received the topic: " Socio -economic development situation (SE) in the first 7 months of 2024; SE development plan for the last months of 2024. Accordingly, the SE situation in the first 7 months has confirmed a clear recovery, the following month is more positive than the previous month, the following quarter is more positive than the previous quarter, achieving many important and quite comprehensive results. Economic growth in the second quarter reached 6.93% over the same period last year, the total for the first 6 months reached 6.42%; the macro economy is basically stable, inflation is controlled, major balances are ensured. Total registered FDI capital in the first 7 months reached more than 18 billion USD, an increase of 10.9% over the same period. Innovation, digital transformation, green transformation, circular economy, new industries and sectors (chips, semiconductors, artificial intelligence ...) continue to be strongly promoted. Training and development of quality human resources high for these industries and fields are interested and focused.

The conference also heard the leader of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs inform about the topic: "The current situation of religion, belief and State management of religion in our country; directions, tasks and solutions in the coming time.

Regarding the propaganda orientation in the coming time, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy requested the propaganda departments of provincial and municipal Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, Central Committees of socio-political organizations, reporters at all levels and grassroots propagandists to step up propaganda to highlight the results of socio-economic indicators in the first 6 months of the year. Propaganda to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2024) and the 55th anniversary of his death (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2024). Propaganda to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).
