Foreign exchange rates on March 31, 2025: USD and CNY fluctuate little

DNVN - This morning (March 31), the exchange rate between Vietnamese Dong (VND) and US Dollar (USD) and Chinese Yuan (CNY) at banks had almost no significant fluctuations.

At 8:30 a.m., Vietcombank and BIDV both kept the USD exchange rate at 25,400 - 25,760 VND/USD (buy - sell), unchanged from the morning trading session on March 28.

On the contrary, the State Bank adjusted the central exchange rate down 6 VND compared to March 28, currently at 24,837 VND/USD. With a fluctuation range of ±5%, the ceiling exchange rate today is 26,079 VND/USD, while the floor exchange rate is 23,595 VND/USD. At the State Bank's transaction office, the reference exchange rate announced is 23,651 - 26,035 VND/USD (buy - sell).

For the CNY, Vietcombank is currently listing the rate at 3,467 - 3,578 VND/CNY (buy - sell), a slight increase of 1 VND in both directions compared to the morning trading session on March 28. BIDV also made a similar adjustment, raising the CNY exchange rate to 3,484 - 3,580 VND/CNY (buy - sell).
