The final qualifying match of U.21 Vietnam

After a regrettable 1-3 defeat to U.21 Chile on the evening of August 15, the Vietnam U.21 women's volleyball team will enter the final qualifying match at the U.21 Women's Volleyball World Championship today (August 16).

The next opponent of U.21 Vietnam is U.21 Dominica, an opponent that is considered not too difficult to overcome for the girls from Southeast Asia. U.21 Dominica only won 1 match and lost 4 matches in the group stage. After that, they won another match in the qualifying round against U.21 Tunisia and in yesterday's match, they lost again to U.21 Canada - the team that U.21 Vietnam defeated in the group stage (later awarded the victory).

In addition, at the same time, the semi-final match will take place between U.21 Brazil and U.21 Italy – the two leading teams in the history of the tournament. Brazil holds the record with 6 championships, although their last title was in 2007. Italy has won the championship twice and reached the final in the last 3 seasons.
