On the morning of July 11, the entire team arrived in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture (Japan), with a warm welcome from representatives of the Japan Football Federation. The members of the Vietnam U20 women's team quickly moved to the hotel, checked in and had lunch.
In the afternoon of the same day, Coach Okiyama Masahiki let the players practice lightly at Shizuoka University to get used to the weather and field conditions. The weather in Hamamatsu City is currently quite similar to Hanoi , with daytime temperatures around 30 degrees.
According to plan, the Vietnam U20 women's team will train for 10 days in Hamamatsu City, with 5 friendly matches expected.
In it, the team will face two opponents from Shizuoka Sangyo and Aichi Toho universities, along with three high school teams.
On the sidelines of the training session, the Vietnamese U20 women's players also took the opportunity to take souvenir photos with some Vietnamese students studying at Shizuoka University.
