Provincial People's Committee meets to agree on information and propaganda plan for conference to announce planning and promote investment

On March 12, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to agree on the information and propaganda plan to prepare for the conference to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 and promote investment in Ninh Thuan province (referred to as the conference). Attending were leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities.

The conference has the theme: "Ninh Thuan - Land of Convergence of Different Values" to provide basic information on the provincial planning approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1319/QD-TTg; introduce and promote the image of the province, its potentials, advantages, preferential policies, and development orientations to domestic and foreign investors, thereby attracting investment, mobilizing resources to realize the provincial planning; raising awareness, roles, and responsibilities of all levels, sectors, enterprises, and people to organize implementation and supervision. Accordingly, the main content of the conference will be to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; grant investment policies and investment registration certificates to domestic and foreign investors; and grant memorandums of understanding on project investment research between the Provincial People's Committee and investors. In addition, sideline activities will be organized such as: Inauguration of Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway; seminars on green energy, green hydrogen and carbon neutral industrial zones and investment promotion booths combined with displaying typical products of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

After listening to comments and discussions between agencies and units, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee basically agreed with the draft plan for information and propaganda of the conference. He requested the Department of Information and Communications to prepare well the content of the press release at the conference; closely coordinate with press agencies and grassroots media systems to organize information and propaganda activities for events before, during and after the conference, ensuring practicality and effectiveness; coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment, the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Tourism to develop a separate plan to organize a press conference to announce the conference. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will deploy propaganda and visual agitation in many forms. Ninh Thuan Newspaper, Ninh Thuan Radio and Television will build columns, increase news articles to propagate, introduce and promote the investment and business environment of the province. Localities will step up information and propaganda work to people, businesses and investors about the upcoming conference.
