The Provincial People's Committee reviews the contents of preparations for organizing the Conference to announce the provincial planning.

(E-Portal) On June 22, 2024, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong chaired a meeting to review the contents of preparations for the Conference to announce the provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 according to Plan No. 111/KH-UBND dated May 24, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

The conference to announce the provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, is expected to be held on July 6, 2024 at the Saigon - Dong Ha Hotel hall (Dong Ha City) with the participation of about 500 delegates including: Central leaders, ministries, branches, localities, diplomatic agencies, international organizations, business associations, domestic and foreign investors...

This is an important forum for exchanging, meeting, introducing, promoting the image, potential and strengths of Quang Tri province and conveying the message and desire to strengthen international cooperation in all fields to promote and develop the province's socio-economy .

Attracting investors to seek investment and business cooperation opportunities in the locality, contributing to effectively exploiting the potentials and strengths of the province, improving the quality of life of the people. At the same time, mobilizing and utilizing NGO, FDI, ODA aid from countries, agencies, international organizations, and enterprises.

Strengthen close coordination with central ministries, branches, foreign diplomatic missions, domestic and international organizations. Create favorable opportunities for provincial agencies, authorities, investors, and enterprises to contact, establish and develop cooperative relationships with partners.

Accordingly, the main contents of the Conference include: Announcing the Prime Minister's decision on approving the planning of Quang Tri province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; handing over the Investment Policy Decision, Investment Registration Certificate and Investment Cooperation Minutes; speeches by central and local leaders.

In addition, the province also organizes related activities on the sidelines of the Conference such as: Organizing a space to display documents and information about the Provincial Planning, the province's driving projects to attract investment; a space to display information, documents, and images introducing the nature, land, culture, and people of Quang Tri; promoting investment, trade, and tourism promotion activities of the province, typical local products, etc.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and exchanged a number of contents on conditions to ensure, plans for arrangement and decoration of the conference hall and sideline activities; reception of domestic and international guests; preparation of a report introducing the provincial planning and the potential and advantages of the province's investment environment to be shown at the conference; detailed script of the conference program; organization costs, etc.

In his concluding remarks, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong requested relevant departments and agencies to continue to carefully review the detailed scenario of the Conference, based on the assigned tasks, ensuring that the Conference is organized thoughtfully, solemnly, safely and effectively, in accordance with regulations, with profound meaning and practical content, in order to fully convey the core and basic contents of the Provincial Planning, the potentials and opportunities for extensive investment to all levels, sectors, classes of people, the business community, international organizations, domestic and foreign investors. In addition, closely coordinate in logistics, reception, diplomacy, communications, security, etc. to successfully organize the Conference according to the set goals, contributing to creating a good impression of the homeland and people of Quang Tri to the whole country and international friends.
