Insider on March 15 quoted a local wildlife conservation agency as saying that the child chased a poisonous brown snake through his yard last week. This is an Eastern brown snake, the second most poisonous in the world . Their venom contains toxins that can paralyze the nerves in the heart and lungs of humans.
Wildlife conservation officers received a call from a family in Sydney on March 8. The family discovered several snakes incubating eggs in their front garden and immediately reported it to the authorities.

Upon arrival, the team dug around the front yard and eventually found a snake nest containing 110 snake eggs. These eggs were believed to have been laid by multiple female snakes over the years.
In addition to the eastern brown snake, the team also witnessed a red-bellied black snake. Both snakes were shedding their scales, had dull eyes, and appeared to have eaten a lot of food, including frogs and lizards, before.
The two snakes were discovered on a warm, dark road, next to a garden - an ideal habitat for snakes.
According to the local wildlife agency, snakes are a natural part of the Australian landscape. However, living so close to the family with children was deemed inappropriate and the animals were moved to another area.
