Continuing the journey to fulfill the local mission

With nearly 50 years of establishment and development, UEH has always been closely connected and accompanied with the development of the cities and localities where the university is located. From dynamic Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta with the UEH Mekong branch.
The establishment of UEH Nexus Campus Nha Trang is a continuation of that journey, aiming to contribute intelligence and resources to the South Central Coast - Central Highlands region.

The new facility will undertake three main tasks:

  • Training high-quality human resources to meet the socio-economic development needs of the region;
  • Research and transfer practical solutions;
  • Connecting networks of scholars, students, and businesses domestically and internationally.

In addition to UEH's strengths such as economics, law, logistics, tourism, planning, etc., UEH Nexus Campus focuses on training, research, and international connections associated with Khanh Hoa's advantages and the region's potential such as: Sustainable marine economy, marine spatial planning, ocean technology, microchips, health care and community development.

A place where scholars gather and connect global knowledge

Shaped as a “Hub of international scholars and global knowledge” of the UEH academic ecosystem nationwide, UEH Nexus Campus is an interdisciplinary academic space and a research and innovation center, developed based on three pillars:

- Minds (People – Scholars – Community): An open space connecting students, researchers and leading experts in many fields. Through a system of international standard training programs, an academic environment entirely in English, a series of workshops, talk shows, and periodic discussions, this place becomes a meeting place to share knowledge, perspectives and experiences, not only for UEH Nexus but also for the academic community in the region.

- Books (Source of knowledge – Global – Selected): Modern library system, Book Café and display area for books, newspapers, high-quality scientific research works carefully selected by UEH. The goal is to build the leading international knowledge bookshelf of the South Central Coast – Central Highlands, spreading prestigious, updated and diverse knowledge to the community.

- Ideas (Dialogue – Creativity – Connection): A launching pad for startup and creative ideas, where students and the community can experiment and compete through competitions, academic programs and networking activities. Initiatives from here can be applied in practice, contributing to solving local socio-economic development problems.

In particular, the branch will implement an educational cooperation program under the ASEAN Cooperative Education model (UEH ASEAN COOP), helping students have the opportunity to study and experience at leading enterprises in the Asia region, increasing their ability to integrate into the international working environment, aiming for Global Citizens - acting locally - going to return.

About UEH Nexus Campus project

With optimal – modern – dynamic – green and sustainable architecture, UEH Nexus Campus has a training scale of 2,000 students, 90 working places for staff – lecturers and many areas for research, creativity, and community connection. The dormitory area provides accommodation for 376 boarding students, creating a convenient and cohesive learning and living environment.

The project is inspired by Champa architecture, reflecting local culture and traditions, while inspiring pride in the generation of learners. The library building is designed with the symbol of a globe and a converging magnifying glass , “where global knowledge converges locally and connects UEH generations with the world”.

The main blocks are connected by a green carpet of hanging gardens running along the main facade, reminiscent of the Nha Trang coastline with white sand and golden sunshine . This design not only creates a visual highlight but also improves the climate, is environmentally friendly, and is associated with the green university model that UEH pursues.
