Ung Hoang Phuc opens up about the shock of being forced to leave the stage

Ung Hoang Phuc is a famous idol with a series of "immortal" hits in the hearts of many audiences of the 8x and 9x generations such as: "Rather like that", "Promises a lot, breaks promises a lot", "Why in my heart",... When he was at the peak of his career, the male singer suddenly stopped his artistic activities because of many life and death situations due to spinal injuries.

Ung Hoang Phuc said that he unfortunately had an accident while practicing acrobatics with group 1088. He thought it was just a normal pain, however, the condition became more and more serious, forcing the male singer to need surgery. Luckily, the first surgery was successful, but the doctor also advised him to stop his music career to avoid a recurrence of the injury. However, nothing could stop Ung Hoang Phuc from living with his passion for art. He still practiced dancing day and night, giving his all on stage, causing his old illness to relapse more severely after 3-4 years.  

When recalling the incident, the male singer choked up: " When I was at my most successful stage, suddenly I no longer had the energy to do the things I usually do. At that time, I felt disappointed and extremely frustrated."

He was at a dead end when he was sick.

It is known that Ung Hoang Phuc met his wife, model Kim Cuong, in 2012, which was also the time when his life hit rock bottom due to illness. Therefore, the male singer felt lucky that she was always by his side, encouraging him, being the "lifebuoy" for him to cling to and try to get back up.

Former model Kim Cuong confided, " The time I met Phuc was when he was suffering from illness, had no money, no one invited him to perform, it was really difficult. Seeing him in pain on the hospital bed, I felt very sorry. The time he cried to me, those sad eyes made me think that I needed to accompany him to overcome everything."

Ung Hoang Phuc's spinal injury lasted from 2001 to 2015, with many times going through "life and death" on the operating table. The male singer was lucky to find a new treatment method and his health gradually recovered. However, when he returned to the art world after a period of absence, the male singer continuously received many big shocks.

Coming to model Kim Cuong, Ung Hoang Phuc has the motivation to strive again.

"I went back to singing but everything was completely unfamiliar, I had to start over. The pay was low, I didn't have enough financial means to invest in music and costumes. But I had to learn to accept the unacceptable things, because that was the way things were at that time and I had to go with the flow of life " - Ung Hoang Phuc confided.

Ung Hoang Phuc humorously said that there is no special secret to conquering his wife's stepchild. He admitted that his true love for Kim Cuong made him try to love and treat the child sincerely.
