Dream Cruise is a 5-star luxury cruise ship with a length of 261.31m, a width of 32.25m, and a speed of 22 nautical miles/hour. The ship's interior is modern, with 5-star hotel standard amenities, including 16 floors, 1,008 rooms, and can accommodate more than 2,016 people.

According to Mr. Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, the destination of Da Nang City is assessed to have a convenient location for international cruise lines, located on an important maritime traffic route in Asia, suitable for connecting routes of cruise ships in the region and the world , recently attracting many international cruise lines to bring cruise ships to exploit.

"Cruise tourism has a high-spending customer source, which is an important source of customers for the tourism industry. To attract this type of tourism, Da Nang City has recently prepared adequate and quality infrastructure to ensure serving a large number of cruise passengers, while focusing on promoting and diversifying products to meet the needs, tastes and enhance the experience for tourists," said Mr. Tan Van Vuong.

Department of Tourism presents flowers and gifts to crew and tourists

In 2023, Da Nang City will welcome 22 cruise ships with more than 18,000 passengers. According to the schedule registered by travel agencies, it is expected that in 2024, nearly 50 cruise ships will arrive at Tien Sa port, estimated to reach more than 50,000 passengers.

According to statistics, during the 2024 Lunar New Year, the total number of visitors to Da Nang City is estimated to reach nearly 362,000, an increase of 23% over the same period in 2023, of which international visitors are estimated to reach 172,000 and domestic visitors are estimated to reach 190,000.
