(NLDO)- Many bookstores offer discounts and special offers before the new school year 2025-2026.

On the afternoon of August 5, the Vietnam Education Publishing House (NXBGDVN) said that many bookstores have offered discounts and special offers for customers.

From July 28 to September 30, Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company - a member of NXBGDVN, offers a 10% discount on all textbooks and exercise books (applicable to the Connecting Knowledge with Life series) at all Edubook stores. This is to share the burden of the new school year with parents, ensuring social security.

To support families in finding textbooks conveniently, avoiding buying books from unknown sources on the market, books of unknown origin, NXBGDVN has provided a list of stores in the system.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the Vietnam Education Publishing House will print 160.8 million copies of textbooks, of which about 2-3% of the output is reserved for use in case of unexpected events, natural disasters, storms and floods...

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Tung, Member of the Board of Members, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnam Education Publishing House, said that the unit had developed a plan to print textbooks very early to organize printing and warehousing work in time to serve the distribution needs and had completed 100% of printing and warehousing work and was actively and urgently organizing the supply of textbooks to localities.

Currently, the printing of textbooks of the unit has been completed and is always ready, ensuring adequate supply of textbooks for students and teachers nationwide before entering the new school year.

Regarding the adjustment of textbooks to suit the reality after the administrative boundary arrangement, the Ministry of Education and Training affirmed that in the 2025-2026 school year, teachers and schools will continue to use the current curriculum and textbooks, and at the same time have the responsibility to proactively select and adjust teaching materials, lessons, and topics to suit local realities and the two-level government model. In the coming time, the Ministry of Education and Training will issue documents directing and guiding localities and schools to implement the policy to ensure continuity, without interruption, and in accordance with reality.

A representative of the Vietnam Education Publishing House said that although there will be changes in administrative boundary mergers in the 2025-2026 school year, textbooks for this school year will not change.
