Specifically, with the VF 5 Plus model with a listed price of VND 468 million, buyers receive a 2% discount, bringing the selling price to only about VND 458 million. In addition, VinFast supports loans up to 70% of the car's value, so the initial amount buyers have to spend is only about VND 137 million to own the best electric car in the A-size SUV segment.

The outstanding advantage of this loan support policy is the preferential fixed interest rate of only 5% in the first 2 years and no more than 8% in the next 3 years (with Vietcombank, Vietinbank, BIDV and Techcombank). Therefore, buyers only have to pay fixed costs of both principal and interest from only 6.3 million VND if they choose to buy VF 5 Plus.

“A fixed interest rate of only 5% for the first two years is the lowest car loan interest rate at the moment, even just above the expected inflation rate in 2024 (about 4.5%). Therefore, the sooner buyers buy, the more beneficial it is,” said Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh, a personal finance expert.

The expert also believes that the annuity method will help customers feel secure about the monthly fees they have to pay to plan their family spending or investments. Representatives of some businesses said they are planning to join hands with VinFast to bring this privilege to employees, helping them own electric cars at a better price, thereby promoting the greening of transportation in accordance with the Government's policy.
