Collision on highway, car crushed, 8 people injured

At about 9:30 a.m. on September 15, a car with license plate 29E was traveling on the Phap Van - Cau Gie highway when it approached the Phu Thu intersection and collided with a watering truck.

Upon receiving information about the accident, the traffic police force under the Traffic Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) sent officers to the scene, coordinated with functional forces to regulate traffic and clarify the cause of the incident.

By noon of the same day, traffic police had collected dashcam footage of the car recording the incident.

Accordingly, at the time of the accident, the car was traveling in lane 1 (close to the median strip). At this time, in front of the car was a watering truck with license plate 51C, with warning lights on the roof.

The car then crashed straight into the back of a watering truck, flipped over onto the road, and collided with a blue passenger car (license plate unknown), causing the car to veer off onto the service road.

The pickup truck then continued to crash into the car. According to the authorities, through initial determination, the accident injured 8 people, no deaths were recorded, and the vehicles were severely damaged.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
